What it does
1Password stores passwords and other account information in vaults, with separate offerings for individuals, families and organizations.
1Password stores passwords, passkeys, cards and other account details in vaults, then fills them through desktop/mobile apps and browser extensions. Families adds shared vaults for up to five members; expiring links can send selected items to people without a 1Password account. That gives a household two different sharing routes instead of handing everyone the entire collection.
Keep the Emergency Kit outside the vault. The personal account uses an account password and a Secret Key, while family administrators can help other members recover access. The listed personal/family trial lasts 14 days. Separate machine-credential and privileged-access products in the wider platform are different purchasing decisions.
