What it does
2FAS Auth manages two-factor tokens locally with cloud or manual backup options and token organization controls.
2FAS Auth generates tokens locally without requiring a 2FAS account. Add a service by scanning its QR code or entering its setup secret, then verify a generated code with that service. Backups can use Google Drive on Android or iCloud on iOS, or a manually exported .2fas file. The tutorial makes the export choice explicit: adding a password encrypts it, while exporting without one leaves secret keys readable. Set the backup route before enrolling critical accounts and store the protected services' recovery codes separately. Groups and labels help organize a larger token list.
