What it does
33mail routes addresses under a personal subdomain to an existing inbox. Its free and premium plans provide alias forwarding, anonymous replies and differing bandwidth and reply allowances.
With 33mail, an address can be made up while filling in a signup form. An alias under your assigned subdomain forwards to your inbox without a separate setup step for each address. The official example uses a shop name as the alias, which is a useful way to remember its purpose.
A block control in a forwarded message can stop future mail to that alias. The free service has bandwidth limits, while Premium adds custom-domain use and higher allowances. Keep the distinction between a shared personal subdomain and a random address in mind when choosing how much linkage between aliases you want.
Strengths
- Aliases can be created by using them.
- Individual aliases can be blocked from forwarded messages.
Watch out for
- The free service has bandwidth limits; premium plans change domain and reply allowances.
Best for
- People who want easy-to-remember aliases for purchases and newsletters
