What it does

Aconvert converts documents, ebooks, images, video, audio, and archives online. Its quick conversion route uses default settings, while batch conversion accepts several source files.

Use quick conversion for one ordinary file, or add multiple files to the batch queue when they share a target format. Results appear together in the conversion-results section. Aconvert also links to a file analyzer for properties such as video bitrate or audio sample rate; checking those details can help explain why a media file needs conversion in the first place.

Limits vary by file category. The FAQ lists 40 MB for documents, ebooks and archives, and 200 MB for ordinary image, audio and video uploads; URL inputs are capped at 40 MB. Exceptions include 10 MB TXT, 2 MB CHM and DWG, and 10 MB CDR or AI files. The service stores files on its servers temporarily, says it deletes them after one to two hours, and also offers manual deletion. Timeouts vary by category, so file size alone does not guarantee a job will finish.
