What it does
Aevo is a derivatives exchange offering options, perpetual futures and strategies from a shared margin account. It matches orders offchain and settles them on a custom OP Stack layer two. The site also offers a mobile web-app installation route.
Aevo is aimed at traders comparing options and perpetual contracts within one margin account. Identify the instrument first: an option's strike and expiry create a different payoff from a perpetual position. Shared collateral does not make those risks equivalent.
The platform uses offchain order matching followed by onchain settlement on Aevo L2. That distinction matters when following an order: matching and final settlement are separate parts of the process.
PERPS+ combines perpetual and option legs into structured trades. Automated vault strategies are another product, with their own deposit and strategy exposure; they should not be confused with choosing an individual exchange order.
Developers have REST and WebSocket references for account management, orders, market data and position updates. The mobile option on the main site is a progressive web app, so visitors can start from Setup Aevo Mobile PWA.
