What it does

Aico connects close-task management, account reconciliation, transaction matching and journal entries with enterprise accounting systems. Finance teams can prepare records, review exceptions and follow approvals before posting to their ledger.

Aico coordinates the work around an enterprise ledger at month-end. Live integrations are offered for SAP, Oracle and Dynamics 365, with standard integration for other enterprise accounting systems. The configurable templates suit shared-service centres and finance departments handling several entities.

For a journal, import Excel lines or start with a configured template. Aico checks account codes, cost centres and projects against the connected accounting system, so the preparer can correct invalid entries before submission. Approval rules can use the journal's value, type or risk and route it through up to three levels. Recurring entries, accruals and reversals can follow configured posting rules. Afterwards, filters by period or posting type help reviewers find the journal's history.

Reconciliation starts by importing balances and transactions and setting up account templates. The team then explains exceptions and sends the reconciliation for sign-off. Automatic transaction matching requires the Transaction Matching module; include that module in the scope if matching is part of your intended workflow.

Aico quotes according to the organisation's requirements and scale. Contact enterprise sales with the accounting systems, entities and close processes you want to connect. A demo is available, while licence costs and implementation scope are agreed with the vendor.

Aico is the financial-close product within Pacera, alongside AARO and Mercur.
