What it does
HiPaint is a drawing app for phones and tablets with editable brushes, layer groups, drawing guides and frame animation. Android and iOS editions are listed.
Clipping masks and grouped layers keep painted texture separate from the main shapes. Perspective, isometric and symmetry guides assist structured drawings, while stroke stabilisation helps control a line. Brushes can be customised and imported or exported.
For animation, onion skinning shows neighbouring frames. Choose JPG or PNG for a still image, PSD for layered exchange, or HSD for HiPaint’s own format. Painting-process playback exports MP4; that recording serves a different purpose from a frame animation.
The iOS edition also lets you enable window dragging through the Theme Editor in the upper-right menu. Both stores list in-app purchases, and the Android listing includes ads.
