Airfoil Tools

Airfoil Tools searches profiles by thickness/camber, links their original data sources and downloads coordinate .dat data in several formats. Compare polar diagrams at matching Reynolds numbers and Ncrit settings; the site says most polars were generated with Xfoil. Its plotter scales to a selected chord, adjusts camber/thickness/pitch and produces an SVG plan for full-size or multipage printing. Two or more profiles can be overlaid for shape comparison. Custom airfoils are added by pasting .dat content, but the site says they last only for the browser session and must be re-added after reopening. Keep the original coordinates and polar conditions with any modified geometry; a plotted section does not establish a finished wing's performance.
