What it does
Amara provides an online subtitle editor and team-management tools, alongside separate professional subtitle and caption services.
Choose the Amara Editor if you will author the subtitles, or Amara On Demand if a supplier will produce them. In the cloud editor, audio waveforms, adjustable playback speed, shortcuts and notes support captioning, translation and review.
Project and team tools coordinate volunteers or external vendors around that work. A platform account and a completed subtitle order are different purchases, so compare the authoring/team entitlement separately from service turnaround and language coverage.
Strengths
- Editor and team tools support collaborative subtitle projects.
