Amazing Marvin

What it does

Amazing Marvin is a personal productivity app with over 100 features. It includes tools like Super Focus Mode, an Accountability Pledge, a Task Jar, and a Procrastination Wizard. The app is highly customizable, with more than 300 settings and multiple layout options.

Amazing Marvin is a task manager built for people who struggle with procrastination and focus. The homepage lists features such as Super Focus Mode, which shows one task at a time, an Accountability Pledge that lets you put real money on deadlines, and a Task Jar that picks tasks at random. There is also a Procrastination Wizard for breaking through resistance, a Pomodoro timer, and time tracking. The app offers over 300 settings and multiple layouts, so you can enable only the features you need. Pricing is a single plan at $8 per month or $96 per year, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required. There is no free plan, but the pricing page says students get 50% off and that you can reach out if cost is a barrier. The site does not state whether an API or open source license is available. The large number of options may take time to learn, but the app is designed to adapt to different workflows.
