What it does
AMC+ combines AMC originals with collections from Shudder, Sundance Now and IFC Films.
The bundle is useful if your viewing crosses AMC drama, horror and independent films. Check how you subscribe before installing an app: direct subscribers use AMC+'s website or app, while channel subscribers watch inside their provider's app.
AMC+ explicitly says Apple, Amazon and Roku channel subscriptions do not work in the direct AMC app. Included collections also do not automatically supply credentials for each specialist service's standalone app. Choose the billing and viewing route together, especially when comparing a provider promotion with a direct membership.
Strengths
- Several distinct programme collections can be watched through one subscription route.
Watch out for
- Provider-channel subscriptions must be watched through that provider; standalone service logins are separate.
