What it does

AmeriCommerce supports wholesale catalogs, customer segmentation and multiple stores. Administrators configure purchasing and inventory policies for each storefront.

Open Settings > Catalog > General, choose the store, enable Inventory Tracking and Save. Set stock deduction to Ordered, Paid or Shipped according to when goods should leave availability.

Define normal, sold-out, backorder and discontinued statuses, then set product quantities and limits in the Product Editor. A manual quantity edit does not update status automatically, so check that separately. For imports, selecting a store allows quantity changes to trigger statuses.

Access uses a subscription agreement. Cart supplies administrator credentials, and that administrator assigns each colleague a separate login. Check the applicable package fee and billing period in the agreement before ordering.

Strengths

  • Stock deduction can follow ordering, payment or shipment
  • Availability rules apply to individual stores

Watch out for

  • Manual quantity edits need a separate product-status check

Best for

  • B2B merchants coordinating multiple storefronts and differentiated availability policies
