What it does

AMP Bank has separate My AMP and AMP Bank GO account channels. Bank GO’s free Everyday Account offers money-management Spaces, card controls and PDF or CSV records. Existing My AMP accounts use their own access and support routes.

Find the right account channel

Accounts with BSB 939 900 use AMP Bank GO; accounts with BSB 939 200 use My AMP. Existing customers are not automatically moved to Bank GO. Joining it means opening a new account, while the old accounts remain in My AMP.

Set money aside in Bank GO

Open Spaces, choose New Space, give it a name and set a target amount. Manage lets you change the image or name and turn on Round Ups to send spare change from purchases into the Space. Money placed there is excluded from the balance available for ordinary transaction-account payments.

Spaces can be archived and restored, but not deleted, so their history remains accessible. For account records, open the menu, choose Statements and Documents, then Statement History. Select a preset period or custom dates and save a PDF or CSV file.

Joint accounts require both people to have individual Bank GO Everyday Accounts first. Each holder can make transactions independently and see the shared activity. Cards remain individually controlled; blocking one person’s card normally leaves the other active. A Bank GO savings account cannot be linked to the joint Everyday Account, although joint Spaces are available.

Everyday Account costs and eligibility

AMP charges no opening, monthly or operating fee for the Bank GO transaction account, and adds no international card-transaction or ATM-withdrawal fee. An ATM operator can still impose its own charge. There is no minimum balance or deposit requirement. The Everyday Account does not earn interest and has no web banking portal or cheque-writing facility.

Applicants must be Australian residents aged 15 or older, with an Australian mobile number, email address and accepted identification, such as an Australian driver licence or a passport with the required Australian status. Download Bank GO, complete the application, upload identification and record a video selfie. Account use starts after approval.
