What it does

Analyse-it is an Excel add-in for statistical analysis, with editions for general statistics, quality control, method validation and related specialist work. Its manufacturing workflow combines control charts, capability analysis, Pareto views and statistical comparisons in the same workbook.

Analyse-it keeps statistical analysis inside a Windows Excel workbook. The editions share general statistical tools and add methods for different jobs:

Edition Main scope Starting annual price Starting perpetual price
Standard General statistics USD 155/year USD 395 once
Quality Control & Improvement Process monitoring USD 290/year USD 760 once
Medical Biomedical research USD 340/year USD 815 once
Method Validation Measurement-method evaluation USD 475/year USD 1,155 once
Ultimate All editions USD 575/year USD 1,495 once

Perpetual access includes one year of updates. After maintenance ends you can keep using the covered version. Annual access ends unless renewed; neither route renews automatically.

Follow a process-control example

Open the supplied Copper.xlsx tutorial workbook. On the Analyse-it ribbon, choose Process Control > Xbar-R. Set Process to Copper, choose Subgroup by identifier variable, set Id to Date and select Calculate. The report plots each subgroup's mean and range. To distinguish operators, choose Stratification, set Color / Symbol to Operator and Recalculate. Phases can then separate process changes and allow revised limits.

The 15-day trial starts with an email address and needs no payment details. It includes all editions, but analyses are watermarked and results cannot be copied out of the workbook. The add-in stops running when the trial ends, while the Excel data remains accessible. Supported Windows desktop Excel is required; there is no native Mac version.

Strengths

  • Keeps process charts, capability analysis and statistical comparisons in Excel.
  • Shows phase changes and uncertainty around capability estimates.

Watch out for

  • Requires supported desktop Excel on Windows.
  • Trial results are watermarked and cannot be copied out of the workbook.

Best for

  • Manufacturing and process-quality teams analyzing supplied measurements within Excel
