What it does
Animal Político publishes Spanish-language Mexican news, investigations, analysis and reporting on public affairs, with fact-checking material.
Its reporting includes investigations and close accounts of people working around gaps in public services. A feature on a volunteer medical brigade, for example, provides a social route into a public-policy question alongside the site's political coverage.
