What it does
Animation Mentor offers online character and game animation programmes, shorter specialist courses and interaction with professional mentors through its campus.
Its starting routes distinguish learning the Maya software from learning animation fundamentals. Make that choice before moving toward character acting, game animation or a specialist workshop. Mentor and peer interaction on the online campus gives the programme a different study rhythm from an isolated video library.
The main programmes require an application, age 18 or older, English comprehension and suitable computer skills and equipment. Lectures release weekly; learners submit animation assignments for recorded mentor critique and attend live Q&A that is not recorded. The FAQ recommends 20 to 40 hours per week for the main programmes. Completion certificates follow passing the final character or game animation course; they are not described as a university degree. Tuition is listed per programme course and workshop.
