What it does
Anrok uses billing and finance-system data to track tax exposure, calculate sales tax and VAT, and manage registrations, returns and payments. It serves businesses selling across US states and international markets. Starter is priced per market each month, while larger and ecommerce setups receive a quote.
From transaction data to filed returns
Anrok tracks where sales may create registration obligations and applies tax calculations through connected billing systems. Filing arrangements depend on the jurisdiction: Anrok handles supported returns, while other international filings may use a local partner or a draft report for your team.
Review before automatic approval
Open Returns & payments > Action required, choose a return marked Ready for review, and inspect its details and included transactions. Select Approve when the review is complete.
Current-period returns are also approved automatically at their review deadline. Use the Review-by date in the return notification. Back-dated transactions can continue entering an unapproved return, so a review performed earlier may not reflect the final contents.
After approval, Anrok collects the amount needed for each return from the bank account on file. Once preparation and funding are underway, the return cannot be edited.
Plans and costs
| Plan | Price | Distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $100 per market/month | Exposure monitoring, calculations, filing and remittance |
| Custom | Quote | Reconciliation and advanced integrations |
| Anrok for eCommerce | Quote based on markets and volume | Marketplace and finance-system integrations with filing and reconciliation |
High transaction volumes can add Starter fees. Shopify calculation requires Shopify Tax; Anrok checks and recalculates those amounts.
Custom customers can freeze a return before approval: open the return under Action required and choose Lock for review from its drop-down menu. That prevents later back-dated transactions from changing the return during review.
