What it does
Api2Pdf converts HTML, URLs, Markdown, and Office documents into PDF. Its REST API also merges, watermarks, extracts pages, and produces structured document data.
Choose Chrome for HTML or URLs, LibreOffice for Office files, then merge PDF URLs in the intended order if needed. The examples return a FileUrl: download the result before its 24-hour hosting window ends. No fixed file-size cap does not mean unlimited resources; standard requests have 2 GB of RAM and 90 seconds, with larger XL endpoints priced separately. Account billing combines a monthly base fee with bandwidth and compute usage. New-account credit lasts one month, and automatic top-up is optional.
Strengths
- Combines several named rendering engines with document assembly operations.
Watch out for
- Results are deleted after 24 hours; standard conversions remain bounded by memory and execution time.
Best for
- Applications combining office and web sources into PDF workflows
