What it does
Apple Arcade provides a subscription catalogue of games without advertisements or in-app purchases. Supported Apple devices vary by game.
Arcade is worth checking when you want the subscription to cover a game’s content rather than a sequence of in-game transactions. Browse the title’s device requirements first. Apple’s country matrix lists Arcade availability separately from other media services, so a working App Store or Apple account alone does not establish access in your country.
Look for the Arcade tab in the App Store or Games app, or search for a specific Arcade title. Cancelling the subscription removes access to the catalogue games. Apple says iCloud-enabled progress can be available again if you resubscribe.
