What it does

AppScreens keeps app store screenshot layouts, captions and language versions in a project. Free access saves one project with up to five screens. Paid plans add more device sizes, translation, advanced layouts and direct uploads to Apple and Google store accounts.

Open Project Setup using the cog in the top toolbar, then select Output Sizes. Choose the required phone or tablet outputs and their display frames. Add the app captures and edit the layout for those targets.

Preview & Export → Preview shows the set across selected devices. In Download, configure JPEG or PNG output, then choose Download screenshots. Exclude Alpha Channel produces PNGs without transparency.

Plan Project capacity and licence
Free One saved project, five screens and essential store sizes; your own apps
Pro 50 saved projects, ten apps and ten screens per project; Standard Licence
Scale Unlimited apps and saved projects, up to 25 screens per project; Extended Licence for paid client work

Pro and Scale include translation into more than 80 languages. Free exports can be used for your own store listings, website and marketing. Valid exports retain their original licence after cancellation.

If a free project contains premium features, select PRO → See what features on this project require Pro. Remove those features or upgrade before exporting.

Strengths

  • Paid plans can upload directly to App Store Connect and Google Play.
  • The free licence does not require attribution for unwatermarked exports.

Watch out for

  • AppScreens does not track the results of store screenshot experiments.
  • A preview is not a licensed export and cannot be captured to bypass a paid feature.

Best for

  • App publishers managing recurring or multilingual releases
