What it does
Amberol queues local music with drag and drop, shuffle, repeat and desktop media controls.
Drop in the music you want to hear rather than first building a comprehensive catalogue. Its narrow focus is useful for a short listening session. It does not position itself as a streaming subscription service or a full metadata-management suite.
Strengths
- Drag-and-drop queue
- Desktop playback integration
Best for
- Listeners who want simple local-file playback
