What it does
GNOME Podcasts manages show subscriptions, remembers listening positions and imports OPML libraries.
Add a feed or import subscriptions from another app, then use the show and episode views to continue listening. RSS/Atom and named service links are supported subscription routes. The native GNOME focus makes it a candidate for a Linux desktop listening routine rather than a universal cloud platform.
Strengths
- OPML imports
- Remembered listening positions
Best for
- GNOME users moving an existing podcast library
