What it does

Warp is a GNOME file-transfer application using the Magic Wormhole protocol to connect devices through a word-based code or QR code.

Warp gives Magic Wormhole transfers a GNOME interface: share the word-based code or QR code, have the recipient accept the file, and follow receiving and completion screens. The protocol chooses a local-network route when possible, but the application still requires an Internet connection. Recipients can use the Magic Wormhole command-line client or another compatible app. The GNOME listing offers installation through Flathub and identifies version 1.0.0; exact file-size, interruption and relay behavior needs the matching client documentation.
