What it does
KDiff3 compares files or folders, shows line and character differences, and includes an editor for resolving merge conflicts.
Use a common original and two edited versions when the base helps explain competing changes. KDiff3 compares two or three text files or folders, assists with automatic merging and offers an editor for unresolved conflicts. Inspect line and character differences, choose whitespace/comment visibility and check the encoding before accepting content. Differences can also be printed. KDE lists Linux, Windows and Mac routes under GPL-2.0-or-later. Its nightly installers are marked unstable/testing and should be distinguished from the listed stable releases.
