What it does
Interactive geometry software for constructing and changing mathematical figures.
Kig lets teachers and students create points, vectors, lines and polygons, then modify them with the mouse. Use that interaction to test a conjecture: change a figure and observe which relationships persist. Follow the exploration with an explanation or proof. A construction can suggest a pattern, but the useful learning task is explaining why the pattern holds.
Plan for an installed application and mouse-based construction work. The official page provides Linux installation and lists macOS nightly installers; verify a suitable package for the teaching device.
