What it does
Aptabase's hosted analytics service provides event dashboards, live views, session timelines and CSV exports for mobile, desktop and web applications. SDKs cover frameworks such as Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, Electron and Tauri.
Aptabase keeps development and release events separate. The dashboard's bug/rocket control beside the date picker switches between the two; an orange ribbon marks Debug data. Supported SDKs select the build mode automatically, so development experiments stay out of the release view.
For a Swift app, register an account and copy the App Key from the dashboard's Instructions menu. Add the Aptabase Swift package in Xcode, initialize it with that key at app startup, then call trackEvent for the action you want to measure. The dashboard shows the events as they arrive. On macOS, the app sandbox must allow outgoing connections. Custom properties accept strings or numbers.
For example, send an export-completed event with a format property after an export succeeds. An event sent when the dialog opens would measure a different action. Aptabase only records actions the application explicitly sends.

All hosted plans include unlimited apps, live views, session timelines and CSV export, with EU or US hosting. The free plan needs no card. There are no overage charges: collection pauses after the monthly limit until the next month. Larger volumes can be arranged by email.
Strengths
- Separates Debug and Release data through SDK build modes.
- Provides live views, session timelines and CSV export across hosted plans.
Watch out for
- Only explicitly tracked app actions become events.
- Analytics pauses when the monthly event allowance is exceeded.
Best for
- App teams measuring selected features across mobile, desktop and web builds
