What it does
Argenta’s Belgian internet banking combines balances, transfers, account statements and documents. Customers sign in with itsme or a debit card and digipas. Its Green, Silver and Gold packages offer different prices for cards and branch transactions.
For a statement review on a computer, Argenta Internetbankieren brings account documents and transaction history together. Access requires an internet-banking arrangement. Customers who do not yet have it contact their Argenta office.
Signing in with itsme
Choose Aanmelden met smartphone en itsme, enter the card number and continue. Open itsme on the phone, scan the computer’s QR code and confirm the action. A debit card and digipas remain an alternative.
itsme also approves larger transfers, instructions waiting for a signature and increases to daily limits. To activate itsme itself, the guide offers an electronic ID and reader or a supported bank card. An Argenta debit card cannot be used for that initial activation.
Account package costs
| Package | Monthly fee | Branch transfers and cash withdrawals |
|---|---|---|
| Green | No monthly fee | €2 per transaction |
| Silver | €3.50 | Included |
| Gold | €6.95 | Included |
Green allows up to two account holders and two debit cards, with one card per holder or authorised user. Its optional credit card costs €2 monthly, waived for customers under 25. Silver and Gold include up to two credit cards, subject to acceptance. Counter deposits are included across all three packages.
New customers can select an office and leave their name and email through the contact form. Argenta then gets in touch to discuss the account; submitting that form does not itself open one.
