What it does
Artweaver is a painting application for Windows and Mac with configurable brushes, layers, selections and filters. It records brushwork as replayable events, with a free noncommercial edition and a paid Plus edition for commercial work.
Choose File > New to set the canvas dimensions, resolution and background colour, or File > Open to paint over an existing image. The New dialog’s Image Size figure estimates working memory, not the size of the saved file. File > Save As changes the name or format; File > Iterative Save creates a numbered version without replacing the previous one.
Artweaver records painting events for replay. Its brush settings and workspace can be customized, while Plus adds features such as canvas-view rotation and the wider brush and format selection.
Artweaver Free permits noncommercial and academic use. Plus is a one-time purchase with commercial-use rights, a non-expiring licence and updates within the same major version. The licence covers computers owned by the licence holder. The download and key arrive by email after payment; enter the key through the application’s License dialog.
