What it does
AstianGO is Astian’s web-search service, separate from its Midori browser. Astian states that the search product does not build profiles or retain query history and does not require an account.
AstianGO can be considered as a search-provider choice separately from Midori. Astian’s product overview says no account is required and describes searches as individual requests without a retained query history. Those are product claims from the operator.
The broader Astian privacy policy also discusses website metrics, truncated IP information and optional synchronization accounts. It should not be collapsed into a promise that no Astian system ever processes data. If the goal is account-free search, use that specific workflow and evaluate optional ecosystem features independently.
Strengths
- The search workflow is documented as account-free.
- Astian describes a search-specific no-profile and no-history design.
Best for
- People evaluating Astian’s search service independently of its browser
