What it does
Astian's Midori browser documents integrated ad and tracker blocking, telemetry controls and a central settings interface for privacy and browsing options.
Midori puts ad and tracker blocking and privacy settings into its browser interface. Its Midori Center collects privacy, workspace and VPN controls in one place. The current desktop source repository identifies the Mozilla Public License 2.0; optional services have separate terms.
The free VPN route covers browser traffic: open the side panel and choose a server without another account or installation. VPN Premium is a separate desktop application for routing other apps as well.
Midori Mesh is a different optional feature. Astian's policy says it uses your bandwidth and IP address to carry other users' traffic and incorporates proprietary and third-party technology. It requires separate, informed express consent; installing or updating the browser does not activate it. You can decline and retain ordinary browser features, or stop participation through the Mesh settings. The IP and device information used for that network is distinct from the truncated IPs described for website analytics.
