What it does

Astrato builds live dashboards and business apps on connected warehouse data. Shared metric definitions, AI-assisted app building and writeback let teams view results and submit changes within the same platform. Commercial packages cover internal teams, larger organizations and embedded customer reporting.

Astrato is designed for teams that want live warehouse reporting and apps that can also write changes back to data. Its shared definitions help keep measures consistent across dashboards and business workflows.

Package Main scope
Team Departmental dashboards, shared definitions, AI-assisted building and scheduled reports
Platform Broader governance, single sign-on, user provisioning and writeback automation
Embedded Customer-facing analytics, multiple tenants, branding and application authentication

Commercial terms scale with adoption and concurrent use. Contact Astrato about the package and deployment you need.

Create an account using Google, LinkedIn or email and password. Email registration includes a verification link. Inside the workspace, the demo workbook card loads demonstration data; Create Workbook starts a new workbook.

Send a recurring report

For a published workbook with a report defined, open Reporting > New Schedule. Add a name, recipients and email text. Under Attachments, select the workbook and report, or choose an export in PDF, CSV or image format. Set the delivery interval and time under Frequencies.

An administrator must enable Automated Reporting. Delivery normally targets users in the same Astrato organization; external addresses require your own SendGrid account. The documented limit is 100 recipients per email or schedule. Users with a viewer role can schedule public reports only to themselves.

Strengths

  • Reuses shared metric definitions across live dashboards and business apps.
  • Combines scheduled reporting with writeback and embedded analytics.

Watch out for

  • Emailing reports to external recipients requires a separate SendGrid account.
  • Viewer-role users can distribute public reports only to themselves.

Best for

  • Organizations building warehouse-backed BI and operational data apps for recurring business decisions
