What it does
Astro Pixel Processor provides astronomical image calibration, registration, normalization, stacking, mosaic assembly and color-processing tools.
Astro Pixel Processor is built around a deep-sky sequence: load the light and calibration frames, register and normalize them, then integrate a stack or mosaic. Its preview filter controls the stretch and lets you save the result as FITS, TIFF or JPG with an ICC profile. Registration, frame selection and field-of-view choices matter when combining different panels or sessions. The 30-day trial has the full processing feature set, but it requires an online connection to start and registration to obtain the licence. Owner and Renter licences can start offline. The licence page allows three computers across the supported 64-bit Windows, macOS and Linux systems.
