What it does

Lancy is a browser-based tool that turns a written description into a working app. You describe the idea, review and approve a plan, and Lancy writes the interface, the server and the saved data. Vinci, described as a visual-first programming language, opens beside the app and shows each step on screen. A published app gets its own lancy.ai link. Access is invite-only through a waitlist, and a free Academy is open now.

Joining the waitlist and the Vinci Academy are free. The Academy has thirteen short lessons that run from a first value to a first real app. Paid building starts after approval: Lancy is US$15 a month with your own Claude account, and Lancy + AI is US$25 a month including US$10 of Lancy AI credits. Apps can keep their own saved data such as lists, records, bookings and notes, using text, numbers, dates and yes or no values. Sign-in, payments, emails, photos, file uploads and live data from other websites are not supported yet. Apps stay private to you and your workspace until published; a published app can be kept private or opened to anyone with the link. An Ask an expert button shows a rough estimate as you type and a fixed quote before any work starts. The site lists a contact email and states it is made in Bengaluru.
