What it does

AtroPIM manages product information through configurable entities, classifications, attributes and relationships. It provides import and export feeds for catalogue data, with a free self-hosted core and paid hosting, support and modules for additional requirements.

AtroPIM can preserve product hierarchies, inherited attributes and relationships such as spare parts while preparing different channel feeds. Imports can create related categories as well as products.

In Import Feeds, create a feed, select its target entity, folder and action, then upload the import file. After saving, use the Configurator's + control to map columns. Mark the fields that identify existing records if the feed will update them. Import processes the configured file; Upload & Import accepts another file with the same structure.

Inspect Import Executions afterward. Success means processing finished, but rows may still have errors. Download the error file, correct its Reason entries and reimport. A failed row is skipped completely, and only its first error is reported.

Deployment choices

Edition Starting cost Includes
Open Source Free software Self-hosted core; optional support and modules
SaaS EUR 400/month Hosting, support and selected premium modules
SaaS Premium EUR 1,930/month Hosting, support and all premium modules

SaaS charges are paid three months ahead, with a three-month term and one month's notice. Integrations and implementation can cost extra. On-premise premium modules use permanent licenses, with updates after the first year sold separately. The core retains its GPLv3 license.

An administrator creates local accounts under Administration, Users, assigning roles and teams to control access.

Strengths

  • Imports report failed rows and support correcting and reimporting them
  • Hierarchies, inheritance and channel feeds support varied catalogue structures

Watch out for

  • Premium modules and integrations add cost beyond the free core
  • Managed SaaS is billed quarterly in advance with a notice period

Best for

  • Technical product-data teams needing configurable relationships and tailored import/export feeds
