What it does

AudioAtlas lets you describe the sound you need in plain English, such as mood, tempo, genre or vocals, and search a large music catalog. Results include metadata like BPM, key, mood, genre, vocal type, ISRC and ISWC. Filters cover genre, mood, energy, vocal type, BPM, duration and year. A paid REST API and an MCP server for Claude are also offered.

The site lists a search interface with musical and semantic filters, reference-track search, and audio file upload for finding matches. It states the service is provided by MatchTune. Catalog owners can submit music for indexing. API access is arranged directly with the team, and keys are sent by email. The API documentation lists endpoints for search, track lookup, ISRC and ISWC lookup, similar-track search, lyrics, radio, beat grids and audio identification. The MCP server works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop and other MCP clients using an API key.
