What it does
Austockphoto is an Australian stock-photo library covering work, family, regional life, health and diverse communities. Its image-request service can ask contributing photographers about an unmet brief.
Image pages show the location, photographer, image ID and release information alongside a Download Comp option. Choose the file size and accept the Basic Licence, then add any extra permissions required. The portrait “Profile of happy young woman with copy space” lists AUD 40 for Small, AUD 70 for Medium, AUD 100 for Large and AUD 150 for XLarge as one-time image purchases including GST.
The Basic Licence covers one project, with up to 100,000 print copies and unlimited online use. Multi-seat, larger print runs and packaging have additional licences. The packaging option lasts two years from first use; it does not allow merchandise whose main value is the photograph itself. Sensitive uses require separate permission from the photographer and models.
If a local scene is missing, sign in to submit an image request. Contributors may already have a suitable photograph or be available for a shoot.
