What it does
Authelia is an open-source authentication and authorization server providing MFA, SSO and policy controls for applications.
Authelia combines authentication with authorization for reverse-proxied web services. It can provide OpenID Connect or session-based sign-in while policies decide which users and groups may reach specific resources or domains. Define those resource permissions before connecting the proxy. Its password-reset feature uses email validation for LDAP or internal accounts, so email availability becomes part of the recovery design. Keep an administrative route independent of a failing login path and plan upgrades for this operator-run identity service.
