What it does
The Avalon Project provides document collections in law, history and diplomacy, organized partly by period.
Choose a century when the date is your strongest clue, or follow a named collection for a focused question. The period structure is useful for locating primary texts before reading historical interpretation elsewhere. Preserve the individual document title and date when taking notes.
