What it does
Sibelius is a score-writing product family with individual, education and multi-user licensing options.
Compare editions around the score and output you need. The table distinguishes First’s MusicXML/MIDI opening from Artist/Ultimate export options, while Ultimate adds PDF/graphics output and broader part/layout controls. Voices, playback and sharing limits also differ.
Artist and Ultimate offer perpetual licences as well as subscriptions. Check the current system and activation requirements, education eligibility and file migration route before choosing an edition.
