What it does

aWallet is a mobile password and private-data manager with custom categories, backup controls and a separate cloud-sync edition.

aWallet's category editor suits records that do not fit a standard login form. Define the fields for a category, then use it consistently for banking references or other private information. The official page also documents encrypted backups and an unencrypted CSV export. There is an important edition difference: the original app asks users to make regular backups, while aWallet Cloud adds automatic cloud backup and syncing. Choose that arrangement deliberately. A CSV export is useful for migration but creates a readable copy that needs its own handling.

Strengths

  • Custom categories and fields
  • Documented backup and export options

Watch out for

  • Automatic cloud backup is specific to the Cloud edition

Best for

  • Mobile users who want structured private-data records
