What it does
AWeber combines newsletters, signup forms, landing pages and email automation for small businesses. It also offers ecommerce pages, web push notifications and integrations with tools such as Shopify and WordPress.
Free account or a paid trial?
AWeber distinguishes its permanent Free account from the trial of a paid plan. Free covers up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 emails per month, one landing page and one automation, and its messages carry AWeber branding. The 14-day paid-plan trial becomes a subscription when the trial ends. Those are different commitments even though both start without an immediate charge.
A class provider can describe a course on a landing page, collect interest through a signup form and send joining information through a welcome automation. Templates provide the newsletter design for later updates.
Selling through AWeber is an additional workflow. Its store pages can sell subscriptions and payment plans through Stripe, with an AWeber fee on each transaction. The landing-page and checkout tools are optional if you only need newsletters.
At 0 to 500 subscribers, the pricing page lists Lite at USD $12.49 per month and Plus at USD $19.99 per month, both billed annually. Lite includes three landing pages and three automations; Plus removes those quantity limits. Use Get AWeber Free to open a free account, or the separate Start your 14-day trial link for a paid plan.
