What it does
AWS Architecture Icons provides official product symbols and PowerPoint toolkits for explaining cloud deployments and topology. Customers and partners can use the assets in architecture diagrams, presentations and related technical materials. The page also links to drawing tools and states when icon packages are updated.
Use the official service symbols to show the components in a deployment diagram, then use labels and connections to explain how they relate. AWS supplies an icon package and Microsoft PowerPoint toolkits, with links to diagramming tools such as draw.io and Figma. Compare any installed third-party library with the official package: AWS warns that some libraries retain legacy artwork.
AWS allows customers and partners to use these assets for architecture diagrams and materials including whitepapers, presentations, data sheets and posters. Package releases are scheduled for the end of January, April and July, with no release in the fourth quarter. A new service announcement therefore does not guarantee a simultaneous icon-package update.
