What it does
AxCrypt encrypts files and folders and supports sharing encrypted files with other AxCrypt users, including cloud-storage workflows.
AxCrypt emphasizes recipient sharing alongside local encryption. Select the files to secure, then share them so another AxCrypt user can open them with their own password. Identify recipients before securing a large collection and check which plan includes the needed sharing features. Keep account reset separate from file recovery: AxCrypt's reset page says a reset restores sign-in but does not decrypt files secured with the old password. If the old password is still known, its documented Change Password route preserves access. The advertised personal and business download is a fourteen-day trial.
