What it does
Bank Alfalah's Alfa app supports Pakistani account payments, RAAST transfers and bills. Alfa Supplementary lets an account holder give up to five family members selected app functions while keeping the main balance private. Supplementary access carries an annual subscription.
Give a family member their own access
Alfa Supplementary supports parents, a spouse, children and siblings. Each person gets a daily limit between PKR 100 and PKR 100,000, separate from the primary user's own limit. They see their remaining allowance rather than the main account balance.
- Open Alfa Supplementary in Alfa and register a family member.
- Choose the relationship, scan their CNIC identity card and enter their mobile number. Complete the primary user's biometric verification.
- Select the account and daily limit, accept the terms and pay the annual subscription.
- The invited person registers from the SMS invitation, verifies their identity and creates a login PIN. Approve their registration from your dashboard.
A two-hour waiting period applies after registration. The dashboard shows active, paused and pending members, with controls to pause, resume or remove access. Changing a member's limit also triggers a two-hour wait. Supplementary users cannot change their own limits, invite more users or access the main customer's cards, investments and loans.
Everyday Alfa payments
RAAST transfers use the recipient's mobile number and are free. AutoPay can schedule bills with an amount, frequency and expiry date. Alfa also supports card activation and blocking, virtual debit-card limits and transaction receipts that can be shared by email or WhatsApp.
