What it does
Bank Hapoalim Digital provides account balances, transaction records and information about cheques and deposits. Its business online channel adds shekel, own-account, foreign-currency and salary transfers. Personal customers in Israel can choose monthly transaction packages or pay for individual transactions, subject to a minimum monthly charge.
Deposit a cheque from your phone
In the app, open הפקדת שיקים (cheque deposits). The cheque must be crossed and payable to the named beneficiary only; sign the back, enter its details, photograph both sides and confirm the deposit. The limits are NIS 50,000 per cheque, NIS 100,000 a day and NIS 200,000 a month.
Account charges
The Basic package costs NIS 10 a month for one teller transaction and ten digital or other self-service transactions. Expanded costs NIS 22 a month for ten teller and 50 digital or other self-service transactions. Transactions beyond those allowances incur the standard charges.
Without a package, the standard charge is NIS 1.75 for a digital or other self-service transaction and NIS 5.30 for a teller transaction. A minimum monthly charge of NIS 5.30 applies when the combined transaction charges would be lower. Individual concessions can change these amounts.
Personal and business access
New customers can use Poalim Open or visit a branch with their identity card. Existing customers need the appropriate account permissions to transfer to someone else.
Business customers have additional transfer routes, including Zahav, Israel's real-time bank-transfer system, and payroll. Those functions belong to Poalim Business Online rather than every personal account view. Enrollment for that business access is arranged through the branch or account officer.
