What it does
Bankin’ is a French account-aggregation and budgeting app. It groups spending from connected current accounts and suggests a budget that you can adjust. Basic access is free, while Bankin’ Plus adds custom categories, exports and other tools; a registered account is needed.
A budget based on selected accounts
Bankin’ suggests the total from three completed months of spending and lets you change it. Category suggestions use the same history. Select which current accounts belong in the plan and choose a cycle start date.
Transactions without a category still count in the overall total. The forecast also uses spending pace and, according to your settings, upcoming or recurring transactions. Incorrect categorization or a missed synchronization can therefore affect the result.
Plus and mobile access
Bankin’ Plus costs EUR39.99 per year or EUR4.99 per month. It adds custom categories, transaction exports and matching a reimbursement to an expense. Monthly subscriptions are started through the web account; annual subscriptions can be started in the mobile app. Personalized budget analysis itself is mainly a mobile function.
To begin, register with an email and password, then add an available bank. Connection coverage depends on the institution, so the app’s bank list matters before relying on it for a complete budget.
