What it does
Baraha is a Windows suite for Indian-language input and document editing, with phonetic and Inscript keyboard options.
Baraha includes an input method for other Windows applications and two editors, so choose the program as well as the keyboard layout. BarahaPad is the Unicode editor: it opens and saves RTF and Unicode TXT, switches between an Indian language and English, and can convert text between scripts while optionally retaining Latin text. Its Translate command uses Google Translate. The full package unlocks all programs; single-program licences unlock the chosen program. The 10-day trial enables all features, after which free mode has limits on continuous use and waiting periods. A paid licence is a one-time purchase.
