What it does

Bettermode is a customer community platform with discussions, Q&A, events and member profiles. Members can submit and vote on ideas, follow status changes and see a public roadmap alongside community content. Starter and Growth can be evaluated for 14 days, with no card required. The former Free communities ended in March 2026.

Bettermode supports idea statuses such as under review, planned and shipped, and notifies people who voted when an idea moves. Tagging and featuring ideas can organise themes while a roadmap explains the work being considered or delivered. A software team could use this for recurring customer suggestions, keeping discussion and status updates in the same community. A moderation panel, keyword blocklist and profanity filter help manage incoming contributions.

The feedback board, roadmap or another space can also be embedded in a product or website. Custom syncing uses the GraphQL API and webhooks. Integration access and administrator capacity differ between subscriptions.

Plan Members Collaborators Integration and administration features
Starter 10,000 5 Limited API access, custom domain and private messaging
Growth 25,000 10 Full API, webhooks, sandbox, activity log and custom sender
Premium 100,000+ 20+ Custom content management, Design Studio and 90-day audit logs

Collaborators are the people administering or moderating the community, so their allowance is separate from the audience size. Starter and Growth have monthly and annual subscriptions; Premium is quoted. Both named subscriptions offer fourteen days without a card. Creating a community requires an account. Bettermode discontinued its former Free communities on March 15, 2026.
