What it does

Betterworks connects performance conversations with goals, milestones and recent activity. Employees can initiate and record their own check-ins, while HR teams adapt review templates to roles and workflows. Paid packages add talent planning and enterprise services, and implementation carries a separate one-time charge.

Betterworks Conversations brings current goal progress and recent activity into performance discussions. Configure the templates and review cycles for the relevant roles, then use the conversation record to capture feedback as it occurs. Employees can start and log their own conversations, keeping those discussions available beyond the annual review.

Packages

Package Coverage
Performance Goals, feedback, conversations, one-to-one meetings and single sign-on
Performance + Talent Intelligence Adds calibration, succession planning, skills information and development plans
Enterprise Adds engagement tools, program design and expanded services

The first two packages publish per-user monthly rates; Enterprise receives a tailored proposal. Implementation is an additional one-time cost. Pricing also depends on the active user count, integrations and support needs.

Existing users need an active Betterworks account. With company single sign-on, use the email address registered in Betterworks; a different email alias can prevent access.

Strengths

  • Goal progress and milestones appear within performance conversations
  • Employees can initiate and record their own check-ins

Watch out for

  • Implementation is charged separately from the recurring user fee

Best for
