Beyond Bank

Beyond Bank gives community organizations a dedicated banking route rather than treating them solely as personal-account holders. Households use its personal range, including Purple Transactor, with mobile and internet banking plus branch support.

Purple Transactor has no account-keeping, domestic card-purchase or dishonour fee. International transactions cost 3%; Bank@Post withdrawals cost A$4.50 and deposits A$2. It does not earn interest. Applicants must be at least 18 and use it for personal purposes. Have photo ID, a mobile phone and an email address ready for registration.

Moving spare change into savings

To activate round2save, open Accounts in the mobile app, select an eligible transaction account and choose the savings account that will receive the rounded amounts. A purchase of A$6.35, for example, would move A$0.65 toward savings once processed.

The feature rounds to the next whole dollar. It cannot be enabled through Internet Banking and does not apply to BPAY, Osko or direct debits. Pending card transactions mean the saving transfer can take up to five business days. This is useful for small automatic contributions, while regular bill payments need their own savings arrangement.

The app also lets you choose which accounts appear on the dashboard and set payment or low-balance alerts. Quick Balance displays selected balances without a full login.
